History Factoid - Macrame circa 1910

Below is a link to a book published in 1910. The link shows a single tatted chain (ABOK). The single tatted chain is the basis for some of the NEW designs in Paracord 101: A Beginner's Guide to Paracord Bracelets and Projects (Updated and Expanded Edition)!! The single tatted chain is an alternating half hitch. The new designs incorporate using variations of the single tatted chain around a two strand core. ALL variations ever created by paracordists using two alternating half hitches are variants of the historical single tatted chain!!
