I use to teach online and had to stare at a monitor for nearly 10 hours every day. I would also get headaches almost each day as well. Once I saw the eye doctor, I was prescribed reading glasses. Once I started using them, I no longer would get headaches or eye strain.
The only problem I had was having to constantly take them off when I had to go somewhere and do something somewhere else and put them back on when I had to stare at the screen again. Take them off, put them back on, take them off again. "Where did I put them?! Oh, there they are," I would literally say to myself.
One of the first non-bracelet projects I made was an adjustable glasses lanyard. The lanyard has helped me keep track of my glasses and keep the headaches away.
I used a half-hitch knot to allow the lanyard to be adjustable and a gibbet knot to tighten the paracord to the glasses.
